I haven't heard any other pressing, but this one has a great package + bonus inserts... beautifully colored LPs...sounds phenomenal! I think this is the copy to get!

Edited 7 months agoWow, This is the version to buy. Bob Weston has done a great job with the original tapes.
Packaging is well done with a booklet
Fantastic .

Got alot of OG pressings of modest mouse. Also a lot of VMP releases. This is top notch all around.
Flawless repress and packaging is bliss. -
No noise whatsoever in my copy, and this thing hits hard too! Excellent mastering and great dynamics. Sounds like you are right in the studio with them at times. Can get blurry in the heaviest pats of the songs, but that is one of vinyl's few weaknesses and most heavy music I've ever heard on this format gets tough to separate in heavy parts anyway. Definitely a keeper, if you like this band you will never part with it.

Edited 2 years agoNever heard any other vinyl version to compare, but the sound quality on this is quite good: loud, but clear and crisp. Packaging is also excellent. Nice Stoughton tip-on gatefold jacket with listening notes and a neat art print. I prefer the gatefold approach so much more than having the two records in two separate jackets.
Unfortunately, I'm one of the seemingly very few that has instances of surface noise problems with all sides except Side B. Currently in the process of waiting for a replacement copy from VMP. -

Sounds absolutely amazing. Really pops on first listen. Great depth and separation. Sounds like they are in the room. Highly recommended

I feel extremely lucky getting a new pressing of LCW that sounds this good. However for the price I paid, I was expecting them to be 180 gram vinyl.

Sounds fantastic. Great, presentation with a lovely art piece and great listening notes. The records sound divine, absolutely perfect. No complaints
