Edited 3 months agoClassic album with excellent mastering, but like on too many GZ pressings this one has loud pops - especially on "Buried Alive" intro - and if that's not enough my copy is warped so badly you could almost use it as a bowl for pasta. 5 stars for the album, 2 stars for the crappy GZ pressing.

You will not find a better sounding pressing od this album than this. It's raw and powerful. Don't expect hifi sounding record as it is not supposed to sound like that. As for the album itself, a true classic.

The hype sticker indicates silver & black swirl vinyl and i received mine in exact as what is mention . Its a nice swirl design . As for sound quality , a slight roll off in its highs . Mids and lows are great and some dynamic in it . I can recommend this pressing . Venom - Black metal is a must in your collection .

Mine is swirl too, besides the sticker saying splatter. And i hate swirls. Came extremely dirty as well. Sound is ok its Venom so dont expect miracles
-
Sounds as it should, my hype sticker said black splatter on grey vinyl, when I opened it is grey black swirl/merge, not that big of a deal everything is perfect with the album
-
Excelente álbum. El sonido de este disco es extremo. Les recomiendo que lo tengan en sus colecciones.

A german Fanzine once wrote "Venom sounds like my grandpa and his beer crate falling down the basement stairs." Considering this, this pressing actually sounds quite fine, occasional pops here and there, nothing too serious. The music of cause is beyond description. A classic, full stop.
