Edited 6 days agoDo not buy prerecorded cassettes. Simple folks, buy the record and make your own cassette...Not a hard concept to figure out.

Finally arrived today, which happens to be the day behind Andy Fletercher's third-year ing. Sadly, I can confirm the negative reviews below. This cassette doesn't sound like a cassette. I know what a well-recorded cassette sounds like. The sound quality on this one is horrendous, flat, and lifeless... This release is nothing more than a nice-looking souvenir, not worth the money.

Edited 8 months agoAlthough I really appreciate knowing that according to those who own this cassette it sounds like a cassette, I would especially like to know if your copy has, like mine, a problem with the attack of "My Cosmos Is Mine.” To put it simply, there are normally four kick drum hits (electronic, of course), well on my tape, the first hit is cut, which truncates the intro a bit.... Is it just my bad luck (which was repeated twice since I was able to spot this problem on a second copy) or is it a serial problem with the pressing ? Have any of you spotted this problem ? Thanks for letting us know.... Love !

Sadly, the price for a new cassette is getting insane nowdays...i know most are limited but in my opinion paying this prices for a new cassette which a few months ago was 12€ (+shipping) it's crazy. And for what i see here it's a bad quality tape...

How can cassettes sound worse today than back in the 80’s.? It’s obvious the labels are going solely for profits here as these must’ve cost pence to produce. Shocking quality and more shocking that these are selling for the prices they are. Save your money and just buy the CD.!

I like that cassettes are back. But if a band is going to put out a cassette it should be of decent quality. I have a refurbished Nakamichi BX-100 (1984) that plays cassettes with good sound. This new cassette release has more hiss than an average tape and sounds muffled. The bass is also loud (not that bad of a thing, just different than the vinyl version I have). My Enjoy the Silence cassette single from 1990 sounds better than this new cassette.
