Devon can mix but he clearly decided (like usual) that he didn’t care about the volume between tracks *at all* lmao.
However it’s probably the best album of 2023 so I don’t really give a damn, or a shit (tbh) -
I heard of JPEGMAFIA first from Danny Brown lauding him during the "Knowwhutimsayin?" era, with that I had to investigate and rode around in 2020 to a few of his EPs off Bandcamp. Now, three years later comes this collabo filled with pop culture references, tempo switches, and glitchy samples on nearly every instrumental. Danny Brown's high pitched cadence is something that I believe Hip-Hop has missed since his last effort. It's great to hear him back with someone who deserves the Detroit legend's co-sign.

Great rap record, don't get so critical!! Not sure what else you are looking for if you dig how this goes down ok. What's up with the over analyzing. It's meant to be put to use

Sounds pretty good, I love the gatefold and the cover, I personally like it more than the "official" cover. I guess my only complaint would be how dusty the record was, even having some particles in the grooves. But I think that's just me being petty. Good purchase in my book!

Given the overall package quality of JPEGMAFIA’s LP release, was hoping for a bit more given the price tag.
Still a great album but considering they’re selling this at Rough Trade UK, wish I’d just bought it there rather than shipping it over from the US.

Pretty decent pressing. I like the alternate artwork, the photos in the inner gatefold are nice. Quality of the gatefold itself is able. Record came flat, if a little scuffed from the paper inner sleeve. Sounds great. Would've liked something extra considering the high price tag for a 1LP (a 7" of the DLC tracks?) but I'm still happy to have it. Definitely one of the better releases this year.
