Really magnificient. I'm glad I took this. Store had the silver RSD version, but I really didn't like the cover art.
The mix is perfect for a hiphop album. Absolutely positively surprised. -
Edited 7 months ago25 years since release today, RIP DOOM 🕊
i'm really happy with my copy - it came in nice antistatic inners, records are flat and clean
sound wise i'm also really happy - i hear no distortion & the bass is good imo. also fair to point out that this is the only pressing i have -
I’ve been finding that the vocals are pretty distorted on my pressing of this record. I cross referenced using the streaming version and it seems like it’s the record and not the actual recording. I might go try to exchange it at the store I got it to see if another pressing sounds better. Does anyone else have this issue? Otherwise it sounds good, it’s quiet and flat and the beats sound amazing.

Sounds really good! Clean and bass heavy! Pretty bare bones packaging, especially for being pressed by rhymesayers, but its whateves. Buy it!

This pressing sounds great. Maybe a touch of surface noise if you are listing for it. Gatefold would have been nice but will take a flat, great sounding press over a gatefold any day.

Excellent pressing. Super clean sounding but appropriately gritty. Punchy bass that smacks just right. Records come in polylined sleeves. Also a fan of the OG artwork being used on the cover. Art wise, I like the 2011 cover art best but, for authenticity's sake, I'd rather have the original than the re-imagining. Avoid George Lucasing art whenever possible! That's not exactly a fair comparison since the artwork issue on Doomsday was due to licensing while George Lucas willingly altered his work. Anyway, don't hesitate to grab this pressing!
