Edited one year agoAlbum Revolution # 2:
After the last 2 years of success by both "The Jacksons", and "Michael Jackson" as well, the Brothers once again get their creative juices flowing with this album....It was called "Triumph", and that title definitely fits here....
From the beginning the album speaks to us, and it starts by saying, "Can You Feel It?" (the 1st Crown Jewel).....The Musical ambitions for the group is OUT OF THIS WORLD with this song!!!! Even having the Theater Drums, put this t on another level....
The dance floor was ready for. "Lovely One" and "Everybody" (Get Down On The Floor).....
The Ultimate, Ultimate, Ultimate Crown Jewel, "This Place Hotel" A/K/A "Heartbreak Hotel", is a straight up MASTERPIECE!!!!! I know everyone had an issue with the title, but come on Guys, it's been 40 years!!!! It's cool with those Haunting Soul sounds that are something to really behold, with one of "Michael's" best Vocal performances....
That also applies to "Your Ways" (3rd Crown Jewel)....."Jackie" wrote a MONSTER of a song here, giving "Michael" a chance to really flex his Vocal range....
"Time Waits For No One" (Written by "Jackie" and "Randy", and 4th Crown Jewel), really shows why the Bothers really wanted to do songs like this at "Motown"....
The rest of the album, "Walk Right Now", "Give It Up", and "Wondering Who" rounds out the album nicely, even having lead vocals by "Jackie" and "Marlon" respectively....
If this is what the Brothers goal was all these years, then they achieved it well over the last 2 and a half years..."Motown" was CRAZY not to let them do it!!!! Problem is though, soon the connection of what they were mastering Musically would not last as "Michael" would soon take over the Music world!!!! But at least right here, the Brothers could not be stopped!!!!!! -
Sounds classic 80's vinyl, side 2 with Walk Right Now and Heartbreak Hotel sounds superb! Great funky tunes from The Jackson's!

'Everybody' sounds exactly like this production music from the late 70s
