I have a mint copy of this pressing and it sounds fantastic! I wonder what sonic differences exist between the record club version and the non club Australian first press? I would think they sound the same, how could it be better than this? -

Love the sound of this pressing, dynamics sound big and spacious and when it gets loud, the high end doesn't get absolutely wrecked which is nice. -
This version (non gatefold sleeve) is the Australian Record Club version. The Phonogram (Fontana label) version has the gate fold sleeve. -
Black Sabbath was originally signed to Fontana which was a label owned by Philips.Sabbath was then moved to another Philips owned label , Vertigo which was considered more progressive.The ST album by Black Sabbath was released on Fontana before the Vertigo.
