I wouldn't tell any one not to buy this, but I'd recommend sticking with CDs for physical copies of Greta - cd of this is fantastic. LP lots of pops (same goes for another black LP I have of theirs) so will be sticking to CDs.

I do not have the crackle pop issue with this pressing. However, the sound quality is awful.
The highs are recessed to a point where it sounds missing.
echos, steel strings, and high vocals are all affected. Go compare the vinyl with streaming and you will see.
Multiple song mixing got affected by this and it's unbearable.
I suspect all versions will have a similar problem since it is most likely embedded in the stamp...

Edited one year agoSame issue here, snap crackle pop all over. This is gonna REALLY screw over indie stores since this was the indie exclusive. I see a lot of returns on this one, the record label better do refunds on this one but I don't see it happening unfortunately. Definitely staying away from anything with sparkles in the future.
EDIT: returned my copy in exchange for the plain clear vinyl, and it's hilariously bad as well. It sounds like they put a bowl of Rice Krispies in with the mix. -
Edited one year agoIf you want vinyl that looks nice, then this is the one to get. If you want Good sounding vinyl without any snap crackle or pop campfire, I suggest you purchase a different version over-powering in quiet areas, It is annoying. I would say avoid this pressing if you have a nice stereo where it matters like mine. might sound good on a Crosley record player or a $100 piece of crap but on $5000 system it sounds like crap. Edited one year agoIf you want pretty looking vinyl, this is the one to get. If you want clean sounding vinyl without any snap crackle or pop, I suggest you purchase a different version. Not over-powering, but certainly noticeable in the quiet parts. It does become annoying.
Changed my mind. Meeting The Master" is unlistenable for me. Too noisy. Avoid the glitter release. -
Where do you purchase this variant and how is the sound quality? My understanding is the glitter may cause noise issues on vinyl but if this pressing is good I'm thinking this one
