i think my pressing is a bit warped, but it sounds fine. i haven’t picked up on a lot of surface noise

I’m a bit torn about this one. I wasn’t expecting to like the album as much as I do, so I picked it up on vinyl. I compared this pressing extensively to the MQA version on Tidal. The digital version is clearer and more expressive (arguably more impressive on first listen). But it is pushed closer to the edge. If you turn up the volume, her voice gets fatiguing.

The vinyl master sounds duller on first listen. But it’s also more natural-sounding and less fatiguing. I’ll probably keep the vinyl version. But it ain’t no audiophile pressing, that’s for sure.

I'd rate this release an 8/10. Vinyl is mostly quiet, but noisy on the last few songs. The packaging is pretty disappointing. It comes in a low quality inner sleeve that leaves scratches. Definitely not album of the year, but it's pretty solid.

Maybe this is made out of recycled vinyl? My copy has marbling on it, the exact same kind of you see on recycled coloured vinyl. It's visible when you shine light on the disc.

Mpo pressing sounds fine but looks like it was made using recycled vinyl and has static As soon as you open it

140g standard black vinyl. Sticker says Made in . Sounds perfectly fine on my system, no clicks or pops detected so far. My record store even gave out signed posters :)
