Notes

THE BEATLES In Songs and Music from the T.V. Film "MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR". Originally released on 8 December 1967.

Pressing date unknown: likely to be between 1969 and 1973

Like First pressing (1967) this pressing has
1) around the edge of the label, the words stating the rights of the publishers starting with "The Gramophone Co. Ltd." - capitalised GRAMOPHONE rims;
2) a press-out centre;
3) a gatefold laminated picture sleeve and a 28-page book, including lyrics that is stapled into the middle. The full color book comes with exclusive pictures, a strip cartoon of the original story;
4) 2 singles housed in white inner sleeves;
5) a Silver Parlophone logo;
6) a "℗ 1967" statement;
7) Catalog No. "SMMT-1" and the word "STEREO" are printed at the upper corner of the back cover;
8) At the inner pocket, the old Apple mark, which looks like a drawing, and the word "Apple Presents" is printed;
9) The words "MADE & PRINTED IN GREAT BRITAIN" are printed at the inside, and
10) The printer name "Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd." is printed at the bottom of the inside of the picture sleeve.

Unlike First pressing (1967) this pressing
1) does not have across the press-out centre the words, "sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions, see price lists";
2) has a press-out centre without embossed taxcode, KT;
3) does not have a blue lyric sheet. The lyric sheet is green coloured.

    Apparently,, some copies with green lyric sheets contain a mispressed disc 2 which plays Blue Jay Way in mono. Source Steve Hoffman Forum. My copy plays correctly. I do have a copy with that error, but it has yellow lyric sheets.
