Not that it’s important really, but like 4-5 months ago the owner of the company was talking about the Green Day releases and said this release was on the verge of selling out and as of now it’s still on the website. Just interesting 🤨.

Finally found the time to reminisce and spin this beauty and I was very happy with the results. Pressing quality is outstanding and the sound is fantastic. Glad I grabbed all 3.

This wasn’t cheap but for a “historic” album like this (at least for me) worth every penny. Sounds on my system way better than the previous “versions”. Really “enjoyable” or I could say finally..

Edited 5 months agoI have the US first press from 2001 (gatefold) VG++ and the step up is good but nothing compared to the OG press. The step up is dull in comparison
-
The best-sounding version of Hybrid Theory. The only problem is low quality of the front and back cover (except texts like tracklist etc.).

This pressing is really blow my mind... I never imagined that rock Vinyl sound quality & listening experience can be boosted until this level... Compared with Papercut Album that i have, the differences is actually not too far away but the differences really noticeable, detail, staging, & micro detail have been upgraded to the best version of this album can be existed... Worth every penny!!

Edited 8 months agoI wondered when a company would step up to do audiophile reissues of albums outside of the yacht rock genre. I’m excited to say that this thing sounds massive! Like most people who were teenagers in the 2000s, I’ve heard this album many, many times; it’s never sounded this good, full stop.
-
I was really skeptical of this, as the original version does sound very compressed. Levi has really done something special with this record. I’ve been listening to this for twenty years and this is by far the best sounding version I’ve ever heard.

I'm surprised nobody has commented on the appaling image quality on the Gatefold Sleeve. The front and back cover look like they used screenshots of the original album art from a 360p YouTube video. Massively disappointing. I'm aware that the cover isn't a high fidelity image to begin with, but a quick comparison with the image quality on my copy from the HT20 boxset and the difference is night and day. The high cost for this obviously didn't go towards the design team.
