I don't know about money laundering lol, the misfits put out a couple hundred to a thousand copies of their 45s during their initial 1977-1983 lineup.

Edited one year agoFound this for $40 last week. Record store owner thought it was a bootleg. Thank god I didn’t spend 10k

I need help identifying a copy of this record that I own. The center of the record is just white. Only has A and B etchings. Trying to figure out if it’s a bootleg or something else
-
I swear these MFers are definitely money laundering if they selling 7" singles with price tags in the tens of thousands.

Since becoming an elite owner of a NM copy of Cough Cool, I’ve become a well adjusted and happy person. It really keeps me going.

Apparently, The Misfits were going to rerelease the first 4 7" in the late 80s but it turned into the coffin box set.

What type of nerdy posing expunk would by this for that much....do people not see the medium going rate ...
Why sell it for THOUSANDS! ...Thousands over thar price. -
I have every original Misfits 7” minus “Bullet”
I’m still looking for my holy grail “AF United Blood”
Roger of Af traded a copy for a white vinyl SamHain(nuts IMHO)
I plan on burning (torching) all my vinyl when I leave this planet!
All THINGS MUST !!! Viking funeral -
probably NOT the best place to say this, but the Misfits Coffin Box set (and some well done bootlegs along the way) have better sound than the vinyl on CD for these songs. anyone can get a copy for relatively cheap. seems crazy to pay the asking price here..
if you ARE a vinyl fanatic, i have seen bootlegs/reproductions in the $30 range that sound the same.
$150 for a real copy of 12 Hits from Hell is a splurge that i can see a lot of collectors (especially Misfits fans) making, but $10K for this?
think i would on principle, even if i hit the lotto!! -
I'm going to guess that we eventually see some kind of RSD reissue of this for way too much money then assholes will flip it for way too much more money.
