Notes

First Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Pitman, pressing, denoted by small, faintly stamped "P" in runouts. Remainder of runouts etched, except Customatrix stamp.

Issued on Reprise W7 two-tone orange and brown "steamboat" labels, with Stereo at the bottom.

First version of gatefold sleeve, with the rear sleeve type set so low that the bottom lines of credits wrap around or are cut off on many if not all copies (see pics). Later issues have the credits reset and centered higher on the wheat-field background.

No text inside the gatefold apart from "6327 Made in U.S.A." at bottom.

Catalog number on spine, labels: RS 6347
Catalog number on jacket front, inside gatefold: 6347

Rear sleeve:
I are Michael Charles Avory — drummer
I be Peter Alexander Greenlaw Quaife — bass player
I is David Russell Gordon Davies — guitarist and singer
I am Raymond Douglas Davies — guitarist, keyboard player and singer
They are Brian Humphries, Alan MacKenzie who contributed
You are our friends for playing the record.

Really dynamic soundstage on this stereo pressing, even on my super beat up copy. I’ve never heard any other pressing of this album but I feel like I won’t need to, this is sublime. Incredible album of course too, buy this with confidence.

This is definitely not the first US edition from 1968 on the pictures above! There's a Warner Communications Company logo on both labels. But Warner Communications Inc. was established only in 1972, check Wikipedia.
