One of the very best Ellington recordings in my collection. Great blue jazz. The Classic Recordings release of this album is dynamite! Highly recommended.

I can also highly recommend this one. One from the quality pressing times, and still obtainable at affordable prices. No need to spend mega bucks on new audiophile reissues.

One of the best sounding Classic Records jazz reissues I own. The horns really pop and the low end is bumping. Duke’s band is mostly in a bluesy, late night groove throughout. This sublime music gets the sonic treatment it deserves with this pressing.
