Burning Down The House skips so badly but the rest of the pressing has been fantastic.

This pressing is perfect, completely flat, and no noise at all. Also sounds amazing.

I too had the dreaded skipping on this record. It was unplayable on my Dual turntable. I even upgraded my cartridge to no avail. On a whim, I decided to throw it into the ultrasonic cleaner for 3 long cycles. Skips disappeared! (Side note - I did clean the record when purchased in the Spin Clean so I wasn’t playing it dirty to start.) Sounds great, if not a tad bright. Very happy with the results.

4/5 stars because I spent a lot of money on an ultrasonic cleaner to make a record sound better. But hey, it’s an investment, right?

Love this album! Definitely 5/5 I marked it a 4/5 because I know there is divot in Burning down the House that everyone is complaining about. My original cartridge would skip but my Ortofon Blue does not. Other than that it allows sound wonderful!

Playing this on a Sony Whatever 3000XXX TT and it skips aplenty. But I'm used to skips at this point due to visits to Goodwill and random lots from ebay. But man, when it doesn't skip does it sound amazing. One of the best modern pressings I've ever heard, even with the skipping.

Skips repeatedly exclusively on Burning Down The House on my LP60. Sounds fantastic otherwise.

Perfect Copy. No skips, noise at all. Great Dynamic. Played with Tecnics SL 1200 MK2, Orftofon concord mix needle , denon PMA 600 and Indiana line nota 550 xn speakers.

2 copies both skipping badly. It’s a shame because it sounds good otherwise. Before anyone asks. I have a Yamaha TT-300u with a Grado Blue cartridge. It’s a tracking monster and records very rarely skip and only if the record is flawed. Edit: Third copy still skipping like a booger. Edit: Five copies and a stylus change still skipping. Edit: Sixth copy skipping. I give up. Before anyone says to adjust the tracking weight or the anti skate. I’m not adjusting my turntable for 1 record while all 5000 others save a few don’t skip.

Flawless. Super quiet and flat, with fantastic sound. Is very cheap too

Kudos to Rhino - they’re doing God’s work. I’ve grabbed a few Rhino pressings recently, and every one a jewel.
