This is unquestionably one of the top five rock albums of all time. I might well argue the best. Incredible guitar, incredible vocals, & a rhythm sectiok so elementally locked in & funky it's almost funny. Great great songs, so simple that they're elegant grooves, really, just licks that go on and on forever and never tire, never get stale, the whole album sounds like a jam, sounds kinda made up, and yet each breath, each note is so vital, so urgent. Everyone plays like their life depended on it. And still it's got it's lazy dreamy sections. Iggy sings so beautifully those long notes on Dirt. Not screamed but like a song. A dance. A prayer. Worship here.
