Pressing itself is listenable, I would say an 8/10, with my only gripe being the pronounced sibilance on Liams vocals throughout the record.
It comes with poly lined inner sleeves but I did have some “scuff” marks on mine, but this does not affect playback.
It is a bit of a wall of sound on areas of the album, but I have never thought the production and mixes on the early Oasis albums were particularly great.
I’ll be keeping my copy. -
Just sounds like the CD at best, but more expensive. Clearly the Oasis original masters must be pretty unworkable, since all these "remasters" sound similarly pointless. Reminds me of classic tv shows that only exist in 4:3, 480p, forever...

Edited one year agoComparing this pressing to the original, definitely compressed, doesn’t meet the quality of the original, but not the worst.

Edited one year agoThe reviews on here gave me buyers remorse when I got home and checked them out before opening the record. I decided to see for myself and my pressing sounds WONDERFUL! I am so so so happy with mine. Sorry for everyone else who got bad copies.

Absolutely GOD AWFUL pressing.
Horrible mastering. Awful soundstage. Way too loud and bleedy.
DO. NOT. BUY. THIS.
It’s absolutely atrocious. -
after a nice ultrasonic cleaning I wanted to listen to this reissue that was so badly reviewed... for me it's a great reissue, it's silent, it has a good volume and if you turn up the amplifier it creates a nice wall of sound... for me it's a full thumbs up votes

Absolutely shite pressing. It will bleed your ears! I sold this and bought the 2009 repress which is much more like the OG creation vinyl. But this remastered is up there with the worst vinyl I ever owned. Crap... crap ... crap pressing!
