For me, this pressing gets the bass just right. 80's and 90's indie can so often mix the bass out and the presence region into hotness (for better or worse) but Vauxhall and I works better as a lusher offering than it would as a dry, flat and aggressive one. The vinyl ive got is flat and centered and once clean very quiet throughout.
For the rrp this one has been done right!! -

I really like the sound of this. The bass seems slightly louder in the mix than I from the cassette that I originally brought when the album was first released - this is a good thing as its been good to 'rediscover' this great album again and hear a better mix.
However, I don't like the revised artwork. The new photos are nothing special and its a shame that the musicians etc are not credited. -

I think this pressing is really really good. The songs sound full, and personally, I like the loud bass. It makes the music sound... cleaner? haha. My only comment is that the best song (and arguably the best song Moz ever made in his career) "Speedway" sounds slightly quieter than the rest, although it might be due to my system. Definitely recommend. His best album solo by far. 4,5 / 5

My copy sounds appalling - great deal of snap, crackle, and pop when played mint. Goody dynamics and remaster with strong bass lying underneath all of that though.
