Edited 17 years agoThis is one of my favourite Hip Hop LP's of all time. The subway intro sets the scene, the DJ track "Fastest Man Alive" (with one of the best intro's ever...I cutting up the 'breakdown' vocals on there so much you can just hear a crackle now where they once were, and the liveness of 'throwin' down' makes you feel as if your in a bronx house party with the sound system wired up to the street lights. This LP was rather old school sounding compared to some of the more new school stuff coming out in '86 like Mantronix, but it is a must for fans of old school Hip Hop and the sleeve is also dope, the back cover depicting Flash and the crew rockin' what looks to me like plastic shower caps.
