Looks like this will be reissued next year. Looking forward to being able to buy a reasonably priced copy.

BUYER BEWARE - as much as i love this record and its an absolute masterpiece of any record ever made please bare in mind Orbital have approved a vinyl reissue of their albums soon. This is not an analogue recording so the new release will be able to be reproduced just as good if not better than the OG at a mere fraction of the price.
Lets hope they get the reissues right because im all over this one if they do -

I have the OG triple vinyl bought new and it does sound good. I was lucky enough to see then touring this album in Cambridge and the gig was amazing. Despite Cambridge not exactly being a party town the audience went nuts at the more rave parts. A great memory.

I’ve had this album since May 1996 and it has never ceased to amaze me. One of the best electronic albums of all time. FFRR must reissue it for the current generation of listeners.

Edited 3 years agohave no other option than confirm what everybody already said.
this is for me and for many the best experimental electronic album ever made.
and this original pressing is second best to none! this is the heavy heavy monster sound!
i was lucky enough to bought VG+/VG+ copy few years ago, when prices were yet 2 digits.

It is indeed very strange that this album has not been reissued. Especially considering it's the pinnacle of Orbital's work, with each song a masterpiece (the highlight obviously being the outstanding Out There Somewhere?).
I would even go as far as to say that this album was the height of Orbital's critical acclaim while also being the peak of their commercial success. While they were never "Big Beat", this album arrived just at the time bands like The Chemical Brothers were breaking out (and of course The Prodigy releasing Fat Of The Land). So their decision to make In Sides wholly breakbeat (ditching their earlier Techno stylings) really propelled them into the Big Beat scene even though this album isn't really anything to do with that sound.
A 25th anniversary reissue is due. Come on, whoever owns the rights. Do it! -
As others have stated, just bizarre that such a well-known classic has never been reissued. So many people would die for a copy of this but can't afford it!
-
Probably the best electronic album (at least of this sub genre) which is a must have on vinyl, with each "side" representing on each 6 occasions, pure genius work.
