Edited 4 years agoFor everyone that wants this record just wait a bit. These records will go down to the normal 20€-40€ after people realise that no one is going to buy it for the price they are listing it at (which no one has up to writing this).

judging by some more recent represses of roule singles, i can only hope this one gets repressed someday. its a low hope but still. im not paying that price for something that was somewhat decent in price up until this announcement

A brilliant conceptual masterpiece. A first sample: the speech from Plesantville. "A time has come to make a decision. Are we in this thing alone, or are we in it together?" (Pleasantville, 79 minutes 53 seconds). Then, a slowed down vocal sample of "Sincerely Yours" performed by the trio Sweet Sensation is heard on repeat. Another one, taken from "Because Of You" by Slave, soon breaks the monotony of the first. Both samples are the word 'Together', and they go... well together. Once you get this idea, the kick and some 80's keyboards jump into the game and strongly the binary hypnotic repetition - and progression - of the track.
Everything is perfect; so coincidentally intelligent that it certainly deserve to be noted in Thomas Bangalter's and DJ Falcon highlights.
A total shame that it was never issued on CD and / or released internationally. I still hope that this gem will someday find it's place on an album or a compilation. -
Edited 20 years agoThe best Roulé track by a country mile, starts of with a bit of gospel style vocals until the fat synth line kicks in and keeps going for another 5-6 minutes. Simple yet perfect and guaranteed to put a smile on peoples faces.
