Pretty run-of-the-mill stuff from Mr. James. Mid-tempo. Mid-table. Computer Controlled Acoustic Instruments is a much better value beastie, more fun, more varied, more durable. I suppose he was game for a laugh trying to coax something out of this truculent machine. Next stop sitar and bagpipes? That's not to say there's anything wrong with the release other than it has to sit near some 'defining' releases. I wonder what the 24bit WAV version sounds like... (chuckle!)
