Considered by many Hip Hop heads as one of the greatest beats ever made. Every time you hear it, you just get those feel good vibes and beautiful warmth. An unusual contrast to the more rugged nature of serious Boom Bap Rap. As is the case with the Hieroglyphics crew, the lyricism is well crafted, tight and a pleasure to listen to over the classic beats. I like how the order of appearance for each MC is reversed in the second half. The accompanying video clip was the first Hip Hop video to be filmed at Yosemite National Park. Jive had a respectable roster of Hip Hop artists like: Tribe Called Quest, BDP and KRS-One, Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince, Whodini, Kool Moe Dee and Too Short etc, Souls Of Mischief add to that legacy. The song title says it all, 93 'Til Infinity, it will be ed forever.

Does the 2000 Japan repress features the censored version (with "Until you..stop acting like a silly bitch" censored)? The tracklist says the song is LP version but it's censored on my copy.

I'm looking for help to identify a copy I bought, I'm suspicous that my record is a bootleg because it features the clean version (with "Until you..stop acting like a silly bitch" censored). So if anybody that owns the original US pressing could tell me if it's also censored ?

As we are deep in summertime here in Paree (and elsewhere), I felt the vibe to point this untouchable gem from the golden days of classic hip-hop, a statement of tight production and rapping perfection, balancing between sunshining feelgoodism and a slight melancholia. I'm not a specialist but the overall feel is more east-coast to me, nothing G-funk or gangsta here, just a super deep, tight, sparkling and emotive t that's up there in the Top10 hip-hop songs of all time imo. What a beast.

Beware of bootlegs!
Around 1999 many poorly made UK bootlegs (made from the US original) floated the record shops. It has the same catalognumber, same cover, same label, etc. Sound was poor, cover was a bad copy on a very thin cardboard sleeve. Don't spend much for this crap.
Original copies always have the SRC stamp (a big "S" with lower case "r" & "c" in its curves). If the sleeve still has the original shrink you will find a small round sticker with the hieroglyphics logo on it on the lower back side.
