I may have a rare misprint. The label for side 1 on mine plays the intro skit and side 0 starts with "Go with the Flow."
-
Unfortunately an awful amount of sibilance. The instrumental part sounds fantastic tho. Vocals sounds much better on streaming
Precision setup:
Project X1 Pick It S2
Marantz Model 40n
Kef Q750 -
Found a copy of this today for $40 today - I cannot BELIEVE how much this and MM...FOOD are going for right now. Happy to have the full collection of his main line releases once and for all so that I never have to take part in this crazy roller coaster ride.

I guess I got unlucky. Decent amount of surface noise, pops, and clicks on both discs. Distortion towards the edges on both discs. Disc two is like nails on a chalkboard. Nasty paper sleeves. Edges are jagged on both discs. I'd chalk this one up to 50/50 considering people saying they received perfect pressings. I'll keep it as a novelty, too lazy to spin the roulette wheel again. I like the poster.

A perfect pressing with no surface noise and rich sound! The sibilance sounds crisp to the most part and quality control was fine on my end. The poster is a nice bonus as well. Definitely recommended!
-
After comparing this pressing with the og 1st press, personally think the sound in this RP is somehow a liiiiittle compressed and cloudy, although vocals sound cleaner. The difference is almost unnoticed, still og copy sounds deep and warm.
-
Sounds pretty great for the most part. Some songs sound better than others, but songs such as Tick, Tick and Red & Gold are absolutely fantastic. Poster is a nice inclusion

I own this and the 2013 pressing on two coloured Vinyl and the silver cover. I bought this because I wanted this og artwork since I think it perfectly captures what DOOM is all about. I also bought this a second time to get a better sounding version. What can I say? It sounds superb! Same goes for the Madvillain 2021 repressing I recently purchised (I also have the dull sounding 2006 pressing). Everyone who to hear the start of the Illest Villains career should pick this up!
