I've listened to Classic Rare vols. 1 and 2 completely.
Lots of classics (as promissed). Great selections.
Vol. 2 is a superb introduction to Afro-Cuban and Latin Jazz.

I can't stand the Speeding Motorcycle girl. The Eat Static remix of John Buzon Trio is fantastic! Very good transition between Watermelon Man and Cantaloupe Island.

Last track on Vol. 1 is full of Spain's Classical Music Highlights. Not a good end for Spanish listeners who are very familiar with those melodies, but for Germans must be weird & interesting. Love the Japanese girls, Dizzy Gillespie and Art Blakey (these two are my favs). Not really into Gospel or Bobby McFerrin. Track 15 on Vol. 1 (Quincy Jones' Hicky Burr) sounds to me like Isaac Hayes' "Shaft".

Vol. 2 is very danceable. Good work at the end: different versions of Zarathustra in the right order (ecstatic orchestral end!)

Atm I'm with cinquante's Informed By. While I write this I hear a genius playing trumpet over a subtle organ drift.
