"Crazy Beat (Jo Whiley BBC Session 17 April 2003)" was exclusive to the Think Tank Japanese double CD version.
The 2012 double CD reissues also added additional single B-sides as well as "Don't Be (Acoustic Mix)" and "Sweet Song (Demo)" from The Observer Covermount CD. Also added to the 2012 double CD reissues were "Caravan", "End Of A Century", "Good Song", "Out Of Time", and "Tender" from the Zoë Ball XFM Session.

A scan with the DR meter add-on for foobar2000 reveals that disc 1 isn't remastered at all. -
Idk if is anyone out there but‚ the thing that make this cd a counterfeit is the matrix? I'm asking this bc today i bought this album (not from here) and the seller told me that this was an original release that they imported from Japan (like all of his cds/vinyls)‚ so.... Idk what to think‚ bc‚ Discogs is a very legtimate web but in the other hand‚ the seller didnt seem like they were lying.... Or maybe i'm on negation.... Sorry if my english is bad‚ i would love some help. -
I bought my copy this year (2024), and it has identical IDs. Assume this is the 2023 repress. This is an exceptional recording and just a superb pressing. Highly recommended. -
Edited 10 months agoIt’s not a bad album, I liked it a lot back in 2003 when I bought the original vinyl but there’s lots of loops and Graham Coxon’s intricate guitar work is sorely missed except on the final song which shines because he plays on it.
In 2003 Gorillaz were probably bigger than Blur! -

Along with 13 I find this their best album. There are so much wonderfully written and executed songs on this album. -
Anyone know if the IDs on the 2023 repress are the same as this? -
Rather bass heavy and compressed sounding. Unusually poor for Blur who's releases on both vinyl and cd are normally top notch.

"Charnels Man" has to be one of the most underrated Blur songs. -
banksy and blur is such a cool sounding thing. Wish they made a limited amount of these for the public as well. -

I bought this on release in 2003, great album. It’s got a slight sadness to the music. I think Coxon only has a cameo on it too. After Gorillaz big success Albarn was doing more and more. It’s a very dubbed out affair but I like that about it.
