Bought it online for twenty bucks... the seller didn't know what he had. This issue sounds incredible! One of Radiohead's best albums pressed on two heavy 12" at 45 RPM, the sound is full, dirty, heavy and powerful. There is some notable surface noise in the quietest parts but for the price is totally acceptable. If you find this record in the wild at a reasonable price get it! You'll be astonished.

This is the one I bought in June 2003, it’s a deep and sprawling album that gets under the skin and infects your thoughts. Provocative and strange.

As a radiohead fan since the beginning - who have all LPs and singles on both vinyl and cd, even multiple copies of same LPs, ed on soulseek every single live, who was annoying all his friends about how this band was great and greater years after years, and all the shit you can imagine a guy is doing for one of his favourite band - this album is the end, the last good shit they manage to fulfill.
For me, nothing good was done after.
Some will say "You're overreacting, In Rainbows was nice (fucker !)", sure but 1/3 of the songs were old songs and it has nothing to do with an album with a soul, and remains to me as an album filled with the last breath they had left here and there in some attics.
After that, both Thom Yorke and Radiohead productions is a terrible flatline on one hand and a frozen soup on the other.

And when I see, in 2019, last Thom Yorke album for 72 euros it must be a limited pressing of 100 copies right ? Or maybe only wealthy people love artworks and italian paper ? In both cases this is bullshit. Give me a mildly old and sought after record for that price but not a record from 2019 pressed thousands of times.
When in the past you criticized so well our modern shitty world, how can you be so disconnected from reality and finaly became a full member of the machine ?

          Fitter, wealthier and more productive

I'm aware of my typo just above.

Still waiting for any signs of life.

My copy of this has a slight variant. I bought it in 2003 but disc 1 has the label with the indentation and round circle in the middle of it like the pictures in the "More Images" gallery but the second disc does not have this indentation at all (it does have the smaller circle in the middle surrounding the spindle hole and the run out grooves and label information are exactly the same though: 1C1/1D1 le loup/LC 0299 on the label). I always assumed it was just like that but seeing the images makes me wonder; these were not sealed (back in the early 2000s records rarely came sealed) and when I bought it at the shop the discs were put in by the guy behind the counter. I wonder if they are from two different pressing plants or something?

My copy of this release came on super flat vinyl with a low noise floor. Regular light pops that may reduce or disappear with cleaning. The soundstage is very big with great separation. Bottom end is slightly thin but mid-bass is punchy. Highs are detailed and crisp but not bright. Great stereo effect. Vocals are warm and airy. A great album and equally great pressing. I recommend this release. (Rega Planar 3, Exact 2 cart, PSE Studio SL, Linn LK85, Linn interconnects, Linn Katans)

I'm trying to differentiate this edition from this one: https://discogs.futbolgratis.org/Radiohead-Hail-To-The-Thief/release/5453484 (2009) - it's still factory sealed & I'd prefer to leave it that way for selling purposes. Any help?

I could be wrong but aren't the original pressings the only ones with the indentation approx. 1" from the outer edge of the label?

I have this album, sound is great! minimal noise..

the weight does not seem 180g. more like 140-150g if anything
has the little made in holland. eu/uk origin

I have a copy of this and although it does sound good the bass in particular, it still has surface noise and during where I end and you begin the audio slightly fades and sounds scratchy for a few seconds, other than this it sound great, just a bad press or anyone anything similar. I'm sure its this press btw. cheers
