Gorillaz – Demon Days

Very well balanced sound - good bass and no lost details in the music. Vocals are a little quiet, but not a deal breaker. Good release!

Is this the version currently being sold on Gorillaz' website?

is someone able to compare this release with the og pressing? i'm glad that it has the transitions again which could mean that they used the original vinyl master to cut this release, so im really interested in the sound of this issue

I went right to Dare; no skip. People are right this album sounds really good, not just for a picture disc either. It's a good buy if you like the music, or the art. I purchased a white cardboard blank sleeve, cut out the majority of it to show the disc and store it that way

a little disappointed that there are no transitions between tracks (my 2nd disc has the transitions though?) but this sounds amazing. super punchy, no skips or surface noise at all. pretty happy

I've had my pressing since it first dropped and I've played it quiet a bit. It's lasted me through 4 turntables, as of right now. Never had a problem with the locked groove up until maybe 2 years after I bought it, but I was using an ATLP-60X and have since massively upgraded and haven't heard from it since. Currently listening to it again for the first time in a while, so I'll update if there's any issues with it. The tracks all sound great, with the exclusion of Kids With Guns, for some reason that track is noticeably lower quality than the rest of the tracks. Maybe it's just always sounded that way and my ears are playing tricks on me, this is an album I'm more familiar with than some of my direct family , and I know it does get lo-fi at points, so I'll have to check on it. Either way, thumbs up!
