wow!! muy buena reedición, muy cálida y plana. Dude de la fecha de prensado hasta que vi el numero de matriz. Gran trabajo de Mr. Bongo.

Edited one year agoWow, much information, very analog, dynamic und pure sound! Wide and airy soundstage….good pressing…recommended!
-
Apparently this has been repressed by Mr Bongo in 2023 - release MRBLP282. Can anyone comment about this 2023 release? Thank you so much!

As everyone is already stating here, wonderful sound on this release. Quality production on the packaging as well (both jacket and inserts). Highly recommend.
-
I have never been disappointed by a reissue from this label. Very dynamic sound and low levels of surface noise. An enjoyable listen throughout.

I dunno, Mr. B puts out quality stuff. I've more than a handful of their work, and it's all dead silent with great dynamics. Great value for low-key audiophile records.

Like most music fans i can't praise enough the nice work done by Mr Bongo but the picture is far from being perfect.
Yes, the presentation is great & yes, globally, this reissue sounds nice but there are a few annoying defects.
First, like most new pressings i get, it's impossible to find a really flat record. Even cheap Dynaflex from the 70's are better than most +180grs nowadays. This one is no exception.
Secondly, i couldn't help but notice annoying 'scratching' noises (typical of non-fills, even if i've found no visual traces). This is definitely an issue coming from the plant since all the copies i've tried had the exact same problems.
I've encountered the same type of issues with the Arthur Verocai LP so, i'm glad Mr Bongo help us saving some dough with those hard-to-find OG LPs but they clearly need to improve their QC!

The packaging is of exceptional quality (thick cardboard gatefold, insert). It seems like it has time traveled from the 70s. The vinyl sounds also exceptionally great (partly due to the good sound of the original production). Probably the best reissue I own.
