Warner/Scammer company, instead of bullshitting us with your "limited ?", colored, "respect of the artist's vision ?" editions and other marketting lies, give yourself a chance to get minimum of substance recruiting a not-deaf sound engineer. Most of the music customers buy music, not toys to hang up on the wall. Even the smallest label companies succeed to make far way better pressings with the most ridiculous fraction of your budget. -
Just get mine at high price due to limited edition. I get the same issue than with the version of 2015 : “Petit Frère” is saturating like hell... So be carefully if you purchase this one.
Face B, i get the master BF07535-01 B1 (0825646080144/B), so i would advice to stay away from it (Don’t know if they use other master)...
For the rest it is perfect.
My setup is Technics SL-1200GR / Ortofon 2M Red -

Got it from FNAC two days ago... shitty sound, some tracks are saturated (voice is unclear), but not all of them very strange.
Great album but what a shame this release is bad. -

i can tell you the copy of 2017 is the same quality of the copy of 1997 . Perfect sound !!!! Cause i've both ! so i tested! Just i haven't the 2015 copy. Maybe i ll buy one day it just to know if some men have ear's problem! OR shit speakers or amplificator system. ON 2017 VERSION the colors are just perfect too. like black ink on blood. It's not to make money but it's to glorify a "must have" of french hip-hop. I ve mine for 27 € not expensive for 3 disk in this quality. Please buy a good turntable + ampli before post bad comments on this 20th anniversary disk or just clean your ears.....or stop to clean your disk with scouring pad.----- ;-) -

In my copy, the sound is awesome ! i haven't noise or saturation.
It's a very good pressing for this masterpiece !!
i think that this limited edition will be very search for this in the near future.
The saturation problems of other editions is maybe because of a bad speakers or amplificator system. -
Bought it a couple of days ago, listened twice, and returned it. Yes it’s 180g vinyl but it suffers the same issues as the 2015 reissue. Overall bad sound quality, saturation on voices especially on Petit Frère B3 which is not playable and no bass on L’ecole du micro d’argent just like the Apple Music version. I played my original 1997 CD which of course sounds perfect. I am very disappointed Warner doesn’t think this masterpiece album deserves a good master/pressing
