Excellent compilation, great pressing, sound is clear and open. For those who like 80-ties this double album is a must. So many great songs. Highly recommended! -
Edited one year agoAs others have said this release is very good. I’m not the hugest Phil fan but recognized a lot of the songs on this release so I picked it up.
Sound is excellent, very dynamic and the instrument separation is very good. Pressing is also very good, minimal surface noise on my copy. Glad I picked this one up.

I bumped into this record in Muller for 27€ and bought it. I saw what many wrote here about mistracking and sibilance so I knew what I was getting into. On the first listen there was a lot of sibilance, inner groove distortion and skipping. After washing the record, most of those simptoms disappeared. No skips at all, no sibilance, only inner groove distortion on the half end of Heatwave. Sound is great and clear, very loud and deep bass. Listened with Ortofon OM10 and Black Diamond OM. So if anyone have those problems, just wash the record -
Edited one year agoGreat compilation for those looking for a solid overview of Collins’ career. Excellent sound quality, though my pressing is wobbly at the start of side A. Vinyl a little noisy, but nothing overbearing. “Don’t Lose My Number” is the glaring omission here - “I Missed Again” could have easily been dumped, in favour of a better track. Artwork is ugly, and could have been better designed - it looks cheap. -
First things first, the sound - LP1 sounds great, it's clear and very dynamic, but LP2 is simply stunning! As for the technical issues, there are none on my copy - no skips, jumps or pops.

I got so lucky and a retailer got sent 2 copies of this from their supplier and I snapped one up at normal price!
Record sounds good got all the songs I like except for don't lose my number. Pressing seems good to me but I'm not audiophile. No skipping or surface noise -
I've been through several copies of this 2LP vinyl version and I think it is in need of a re-press. The needle seems to get stuck on a few tracks especially noticeable on TWO HEARTS halfway through. I can see why its hard to get hold of now, maybe it was re-called and will be re-issued under the WARNER MUSIC banner.
