I was comparing it to the version on TIDAL, and I wasn't expecting to not only hear any difference but for it to sound very, very noticeably better! Guess I just got a better pressing. :)

Edited one month agoGerneally really good sound on this one, but mine had a scratch on Side A. Sadly also audible on one channel.
UPDATE: I got a brand new pressing from March 2025 and it sound good so far. Only on side 2 there is a little crackle sound here and there I couldn't clean away. I guess it's almost impossible to get a perfect vopy of this remastered album. -
My pressing is perfect, quiet no cracks n pops. own this as CD early 90's like the vinyl more -

Edited 5 months agoOut of the wrapper and cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. I always replace the sleeve with a waxed antistatic one, so I tolerate the cardboard ones it comes with. But still, in parts, this is one of the noisiest LPs in my collection. I’ve picked up well played 80s albums second hand that sound cleaner than this. It’s a shame because in the sections where the pops and crackles aren’t audible it’s good. I’d look to another pressing if you want this to be a gem in your collection.

I have probably some recent version, matrix 8A... I did not expect anything special from this modern vinyl press. Especially after bad experiences with PF Records issues (Wish you were here...). But I was pleasantly surprised. Few vinyls play so dynamically, with the necessary range, without pops and clicks. The only fault is the paper inner sleeve.

This is an okay copy of The Wall but it's like all the archetypal problems of a modern vinyl press. It's a bit quiet, the thick vinyl attracts dust and static and hair like a mf, it's very prone to noise (although mine has no big scratches or anything dumb) and the sleeve is flimsy cardstock while the inners are rough cardboard. Idk why anyone would buy this over an old 80s press. -

Está reedición suena muy muy bien, sin ruidos de fondo y una buena dinámica, aconsejo su comprá 100 por 100!! eso sí, procurar ponerle fundas para vinilos, el roce al sacarlo del insert puede ocasionarle raspones al vinilo que luego afecta a su sonido, por lo demás todo perfecto.
