No distortion issues on my copy. Flat, quiet vinyl with great mastering - wide soundstage, great detail and clear separation. Highly recommend.

Incredibly quiet, with basically no surface noise as others have said. Great album

I hope this excellent BG remastering will be repress at a better pressing company in the future, like Pallas for exemple… because this pressing is really not good at all.

This is an amazing album. Of all the great tracks Echoes is by far the best. One of these days is a great opening track and Fearless is also a great song. San Tropez and A Pillow of Winds are good too. Seamus is the one track I would probably skip. Over all this is a very underrated album. I just wish people would the amazing music Pink Floyd in their early days before their big four albums.

B-side has lots of distortion, unlistenable. The grooves look really strange and gray. Guess it must be some production fault, as I see a few others have similar issues with the B-side only. Echoes is the reason I bought the album... Waste of money, need to get another copy/pressing at some point.

I'm not totally convinced by this but I don't have anything to compare it to. It's slightly dull sounding. This has also always been one of my least favourite, pre-'80s Floyd records - if not my least favourite, although I do still appreciate it.

I'm in the minority on both fronts clearly. It certainly doesn't sound bad by any stretch, but it doesn't impress me either.

Like others have said it is dead quiet with no surface noise at all. Very good separation. Worth the price for sure!

Overall great pressing, no surface noise and the sound is very nice. Unfortunatelly (at least on my copy) side B has a strong distortion at the beginning. Fortunatelly as the track continues, it fades away and the sound is nice and clear (fades away after around 3/4 minutes). Good thing the most iconic parts of the track stay in good quality I suppose... (copy bought around a year ago)

Deadwax quiet. Great sound. Very pleased with this album. Highly recommend.

My copy is just great. Side B as good as side A. Dynamic and crisp clear sound. Silent, no ticks or distortions. A fine groove.
