Notes
(Tracks #2 and #3 are NOT identical. Track #3 is the remix most people are familiar with. This version completely omits the chorus from the album version and substitutes the bridge from the album version instead. Track #2 is structured similarly, but appends the first two instances of the bridge with the original chorus from the album version. The original chorus occurs at approximately 1:24 and 2:19.)

16 years later and the Def Club Mix remains my favorite remix of all time dating back to the late 70's when songs were reissued as extended versions/remixes. I a radio station in Dallas that premiered the Def Club Remix. I don't know if the DJ had permission to play the 11 minute version, but he did and said, "If this doesn't give you goosebumps, you're dead inside."

Morales' best remix. When I first experienced this remix (because it is an experience), I was rendered speechless, but my body couldn't stop moving. This remix has it all: it's playful, sensual, deep, demanding, and beautiful. That build a little over midway through is otherworldly.

Never was able to tell the difference between tracks 2 and 3. Any hardcore MC fans could make an input? Both tracks feature O.D.B. on the rap and have the same structure. Maybe one is "clean" and the other isn't?

Brilliant music, I'm not a fan of Mariah's music or the genre (RnB). But god damn, this is one hell of a catchy and romping song. I get goosebumps everytime I listen to it. Love the keyboards, the drum pattern, Mariah's vocal howls all throughout. You can really hear the emotion in this one juxtaposed with the upbeat, exuberant flavor of the track. One of my personal favorites.
