"My Breathing", "The Sleeproom", and the title track are stone classics - there's simply nothing quite like them in his entire catalog. "New Thing" and "This Is Love" are great too. As for the remaining three tracks, well, results may vary. I like this era of Numan more and more over time, and this record is one of the best of the bunch. There's a definite vibe here. The vinyl sounds killer too - can't believe it has never been reissued on this format.

The exact point I stopped buying Numan music until he redeemed himself in 1994. While not a terrible album, it lacked consistency and while containing some good tracks, as overall a weak album. If Numan had used his B sides from the era of 1984 - 1986 and released two solid albums from the Berserker, The Fury and Strange Charm era, it could have been two classic albums of the mid 80's period. Stand out tracks : - My Breathing, Strange Charm, The Sleeproom.
