The original of this record is fantastic sounding. Compared to the 2 cd deluxe edition I've heard dozens of times in my life, this blows it out of the water with it's great sounding mastering. If you can find a clean copy of this record, it is worth the price.

This is absolutely sensational ! Haven't heard UK original, but this exact pressing sounds brilliant ! Such a clear, loud and detailed sound ! David Watts, Death of the Clown, Two Sisters, Harry Rag, Lazy Old Sun, Waterloo Sunset , what a great album !!

Edited 4 years agoA good pressing indeed, I really love the low end on Lazy Old Sun, however, I feel the backing harmonies on Waterloo Sunset are way too present, perhaps it's just my sensitive ears.
One of my favourite records ever! -
Excellent sound quality, close to the U.K. press sound wise. Too bad there isn’t a US mono press, as mono sounds even better for this album. Original pye mono can be quite expensive
