I can confirm that this pressing sounds great. However, they could do a better job with inserts and poster, as they are too soft. Using lacquer cuts, which are typically sturdier, would be a better option.
Additionally, the orange 'Edition Collector' stamp on the front and back feels unnecessary, as it doesn't complement the original artwork, in my opinion. There's also a sticker on the seal with the same info. But maybe I'm being nitpicky.
Regardless, grab it if you can because this shit slaps! -
Finally a proper remaster! My only regret is that Demain C'est Loin is not at the very end of side F, which would have been super efficient. -
Edited 2 years agoVinyles receptionnés hier et écoutés dans la foulée. Je confirme qu'enfin cet album est écoutable et ne presente plus du tout le problème de saturation des voix (ca saute aux oreilles sur "Petit frère"). Il était temps d'avoir un repress de qualité !
Il est vraiment dommage que warner n'est pas réagi sur ce problème. Ca me rappelle les coffrets dvd twin peaks en 2007, impossible de visionner 3 épisodes (image qui figeait). TF1 avait réagit avec un numero vert (pourtant ce n'etait pas la mode à l'époque...) et l'envoi des dvds de remplacement sans auncun frais. Comme dirait l'autre: "Les temps ont changés" ...
Bref cette fois vous pouvez y aller le son est au rendez vous ! -
Can confirm this version uses new lacquers and not the awful ones that were used in the previous represses. Sounds great overall. -
Merci, enfin un bon pressage de cet album incontournable. le son est bon, avec un vinyle bonus et le morceau Marseille la nuit + un poster.
je ne peut pas comparer avec les autres versions, mais les basses sont bonnes et les voix clairs.
voila cet album dans ma collection a un prix raisonnable pour 4 vinyles

I've listened to all 4 discs and the sound quality is very good, almost excellent. They claimed it to be a new pressing - whatever that means. I'm not able to compare it to the old releases but i heard no hissing on my copy.
The outer packaging could have been better for 55€ ... inner sleeves look really nice.
