Pressing variation, Gatefold has embossed artist, title text and glued on sepia tone . Cover textured to simulate leather. Record pressed on heavy vinyl that appears red when held up to the light. This is due to the vinyl formula used by Tranco Ltd. Lp housed in poly sleeve.
An almost identical UK version also without MADE IN ENGLAND underneath DICK JAMES MUSIC LIMITED on the labels here
- Has the text on either side of the spindle hole offset higher - see the position of ℗ 1972
- Also on the labels, the text on that release has a very small gap between "ELTON JOHN" and "Produced by Gus Dudgeon"

Is dependant on whose blood is colour match to this vinyl.
If one compares, it can be observed that PYE changed the shade of red by mid 70's
ps. was colloquially known as 'wine red' when all this came about years ago.
