I had concerns about how this would sound. I mean, If they couldn’t be bothered to recreate the sleeve, would they really be bothered to oversee the quality of the sound. However I’m pleased to say it sounds fantastic. The b-sides are a really nice bonus (perhaps included to appease terrible cover art and lack of photos), and it’s reminded me just how great Mel has always been. Melt is an underrated gem!

The vinyl is of excellent quality, including disc 2 with the B-sides and live tracks. The sound is well-balanced, with no noise or distortion, except for the song “Yeah Yeah Yeah,” which distorts quite a bit when Melanie starts singing (especially the chorus).

As mentioned in a previous comment, the record came quite dirty, so a good cleaning was necessary before playing it. The main album (disc 1) has incredible quality!

If you’re a Melanie C fan, this is a must-have for your collection!

For such a dirty record this sounds incredible! When I pulled the records out of the sleeve they were so dirty, but nothing a good brush couldn't help. This record sounds so full, crisp, clear and dynamic. Much better than her first RSD album release. There was almost no surface noise that I detected except on side C. Wow, so happy with this release, a must for any Spice Girls fan!
