Update: I was able to borrow a West Coast white label promo and compare to my yellow label promo and the UK mono. The US wlp does sound a little better than yellow promo but the UK mono blew both US mono promos away, no contest. The UK mono pressing is the ultimate.

This UK mono pressing is the authentic US promo only mono mix and sonically it totally blows away the US yellow label promo pressing. There is some info on the Net that claims the US wlp sounds better than the yellow label but I doubt it could sound any better than this high quality British pressing. G1 (first mother first stamper) in deadwax on both sides.This is as close to the mastertape as it gets.
