Hold on... That low- filter sweep on the rhythmbox intro of Psychic Youth's track "The Future Now" was certainly not present on the original 7" single! I wonder why this was done? Maybe in order to mask surface noise from the source medium?? Otherwise, I really don't like modern 'enhancements' like this.

The SHAZAM track Memories is a ripoff of Ultravox’ ing Strangers with some different wording akin to the original. Husband pointed that out.
Great compilation in all. -
Another fine limited release from Medical Records. The LP itself is a beautiful splatter pattern and the music is simply amazing. The bleepy, Betty Boop, from Arto, two scarce classics from Psychic Youth, and the powerful track, Slip Away... Get your hands on this. Some audiable noise but only on the start of one track. Top notch!
