Edited 10 months agoSounds basically the same as an original, as someone that has both in my household. This one might have like the tiniest bit better clarity but its solid.

The best pressing of Thriller I've ever heard! I'm a little shocked and disappointed no one has said this already. Better than the 1982 original pressing, which had muted frequencies and wasn't as bright or sharp-sounding, and this 2015 pressing delivers on all of these qualities! The highs are higher and sits just right in the mix. More so than the original. Not too mention that the prominent bass in the mix is superb! This pressing IS bright, punchy, AND sharp-sounding (not shrill or digital). It sounds completely analog and blows both the 2022 MoFi pressing and the 1982 original pressing out of the water. Only the best for an album like Thriller!

Great pressing, some low hiss between songs, but when the track is playing, amazing quality. First time lisening this álbum on vinyl, and its amazing.
-
Great pressing of a great album. It finds a great balance between clarity, detail and a snappy base while also remaining very silky and buttery. Absolute pleasure to immerse yourself in to.
No pops, cracks, warp or other disturbances. -
I don't really understand why people are crazy about this release . My copy has cracks and pops and is a little warped .The sound is not bad but sounds a little boring to my ears .
The 2009 MOV reissue has a lot more punch , great detail and kicking bass . -

Edited 4 years agoPerfect copy. Seriously great sounding. I was lucky i picked this up blindly from the hifi shop that i bought my Rega P6 from. One of the best sounding in my collection.
