"The O'Jays" tried to follow up the success of "So Full Of Love" with "Identify Yourself" and to me it just didn't work....In my opinion, they only had two very good songs on this album....

The first one in "Sing A Happy Song", has a very feel good vibe to it...Only problem is that it just borders on greatness instead of being great....

I will say the best on the album, and the Crown Jewel," Forever Mine", is an ABSOLUTE STANDOUT!!! That formula of "Walter Williams" starting the song off in his Classic Crooning fashion, only to be followed by "Eddie LeVert" just BLAZIN' the track with those unmistakable powerful Vocals....

But the problem is that this album reminds me of "Message in The Music", where the rest of the album is just there.... What can I say, they tried!!!! (And as usual I own it because it's "The O'Jays")......

P.S.: I decided to come to my senses and give a nod to "One In A Million (Girl)" as well....
