Sounds incredibly good - and really great music too.
A no-brainer and worth the money. -

My copy is flat, quiet and sounds amazing. AP/QRP vinyl continues to impress. This album needs to be in every jazz collection. -

I have quite a few jazz releases from Analogue Productions, Tone Poet, Craft, Music Matters, etc. and this one right here sits towards very top of list. The sound is so warm and engaging. I know the expression is overused but it really does sound like the musicians are in the room with you. -

I actively feel bad for you if you don’t own this. It’s like god came down and kissed a crowd, but you stayed home to watch Fear Factor. This is all the proof I need that god is real. -

Very satisfied with this pressing: My copy is silent and the soundstage separation is huge, it sounds like a 2 x 45 pressing! -

Flat, quiet vinyl. Not 100% silent, a few ticks along the way. Soundstage is enormous. This is old-fashioned stereo, with Ammons coming out of the left speaker and most of the rest of the band coming out of the right. It is recorded in an extremely reverberant space, and you can hear the echo every time Ammons plays loud. It contributes to the illusion of hearing a band play in a real space and it's kind of cool to hear the sound bouncing around the space, but I am nonetheless glad that all my jazz records are not recorded with this kind of reverberation.
Outstanding separation of instruments, vibrant sound, great record. It is really wonderful to listen to Ammons play his horn! -

What a masterpiece! What a nice gift for my soul! For those with a decent stereo system, this record will be the benchmark for its capabilities. 10/10 in compositions, performances and production overall! -

Wish I could afford to buy just AP vinyl. Every one I own is a good leap above anything I own. This one is in the top 10 best sounding albums in my collection. The performances are all top shelf as well. Brilliant.
