the same - a+b sounds good, c is very noisy
looks like mid and high frequencies shifted to high, voice with sibilants so finally sound is to bright
digital edition has a little bit deaf mid but sounds more natural and pleasant
I would rate this vinyl as 8/10 -
First disc ( A&B) sound great but the C is one of the worst that I own, nothing else matters is unlistenable and I regret buying this.
-
Gatefold would've been more than justified for this 30th. It's the only thing lacking from this release. Music is tight, mix is wide, cut and pressing are good.
-
Maybe is the best vinyl sound in my collection... If someone come to my house and tell me i want to hear a vinyl for a first time this will be the one
-
My copy sounds incredible. The drums really kicks, no noise and pretty silent. Just a few pops at the start of Nothing Else Matter but that’s it.
-
I've heard these songs a million times since 1991...and this pressing makes them sound fresh, alive, and headbang-worthy.

Picked this up on sale for $20 and pleasantly surprised. Have listened to this album a thousand times over the years and this pressing is excellent. Artwork is poor but for $20, I can overlook it.

The first copy i owned had some major issues with brightness to the point i had to turn all the way down the treble in my reciever. Idk if it was my old copy or just a change in my equipment (Used to have an AT LP60 and I upgraded to a Technics SLQ3 still with an AT cartridge) and now it sounds amazing, even dynamic.
Didn’t have faith in those blackned represses, but i’ve been gladly surprised
