to the attention of everyone who has this particular release. no one wrote the amazing difference of this release. in the matrix number of the third option on side -A is part of the number. namely - B-0037872-1 A - placed on the penultimate track. for approximately 10 hours. This does not affect playback. In 45 years of collecting, this is the first time I’ve come across something like this... I don’t even know what to call it. who has it too? unsubscribe. I think this is true for the entire batch of this option, otherwise everything is fine.

Mine is a little crackly which maybe has do with the glitter, I don't know I think this is the first glitter album I own. It does look cool however. Maybe getting the plain clear is the way to go or possibly the point is to give it an retro old 70s lp sound. Anyways the noise is only noticeable to me in between songs so that's acceptable. The sound otherwise is too bass heavy with a predominant subwoofer tone throughout. One thing for certain that I don't question is the talent of the band. It's good music and I really like the two songs the album closes with. Meeting the Master has a Led Zeppelin Thank You kinda feel to it.

My best new release purchase of 2023. Sounds amazing compared to streaming, and no glitter like they complain about with the coloured pressings.

Welcome to vinyl, loudness 😂 So much bass and highs and pretty few mids (and no, the reason isn't my cartridge). Unfortunately the incredible voice is mixed quite far in the background and the lyrics can't be heard that well as in.previous recordings - a little bit a shame for the music, isn't it?
Overall a great album that diserves better mixing/mastering.
Pressing is pretty good, very plan with a little bit groove noise which is audible between the tracks.

My copy does not have a single pop or crackle noise. This is a pleasant surprise according to other reviews.

In my opinion this sounds good. Dead quiet copy. Mixing and Reverb is a choice by the band, which also sounds like this live. This vinyl should be listened to without raising the tones in your amp. Please avoid the glitter releases: noisy, garbled and less transparent. Starcatcher is artistically very similar to the previous album, maybe a guide track like Heat Above is missing but give me time for a few more listens. However, fans won't be disappointed.

So far, so good. Vinyl itself is flat as a pancake and comes in a poly-lined sleeve! Beautiful production - fat, warm analogue tones (can't find online whether it was recorded to tape or not). Not the most original of sounds or musical pallet, but it captures every inch of what it's trying to capture.
