So I bought this about 8 years ago at my local record shop and it was still sealed in its shrink wrap for 150.I was younger and I was having trouble checking the pressing so I cut along the opening of the sleeve so it still has the the wrap on but no longer sealed and now I know it’s the pink vinyl. How bad do you guys think I screwed up the value of this thing because I kick myself every day over it (but I can listen to it so not all bad).

This pressing isn’t actually as noisy as I thought it would be given it’s an early 90s slab of wax pressed by Rainbo. There is a very minuscule amount of surface noise that can be heard at times but nothing that obstructs the overall quality of playback. The music definitely stands above all and the background is near silent. Sounds so good.

Seriously one of my best sounding rock albums on vinyl. The dynamic range is incredible. Punchy bass, full vocals, drums are excellent sounding and the guitars are just HUGE! Every time I spin this I turn it up loud and it pulls me in. Especially side a. As I work through the album I don’t get drawn in as intently as I do on that first side. Don’t get me wrong, the entire record is great. Just the way those first tracks play together so well really dials me in. Takes me back to my youth. The flipper prices these days make this one pretty unattainable, but if you get a chance to grab it at whatever price is affordable to you I would say do it. If you’re a fan of this album there is a chance you’ve never heard it sound this good.

Mine closely resembles the one in the 3 o'clock position; a peach, with other colors mixed in, stamped MASTERDISK, and the gatefold is a glossy texture. There's some surface noise throughout, but it's mostly a pretty good pressing. This copy was purchased in 2003.

Mine is not pink , it's rather salmon color . 5th record on second picture.
Amazing sound quality. Crazy dynamic range ( nice workout for my headphones ) , solid base , punchy drums and guitar riffs , natural vocals ,very gentle and mellow acoustic guitar , correct undistorted highs.
. I don't hear no digitalization . The vinyl sound as analog as they can get. Very enjoyable listen. Haven't heard the remaster with 'remastered' artwork.
