Edited 7 months agoOne could have summarized the whole, confusing jumble of 'the The Smile' in a small 10" with the following tracks:
1. INSTANT PSALM (early)
2. THE SAME
3. YOU WILL NEVER WORK IN THE TELEVISION AGAIN
4. READ THE ROOM
5. YOU KNOW ME!
6. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TOMORROW BRINGS
7. SPEECH BUBBLES
Then it would have been something! -
does anyone have more detailed liner notes? i'm curious where each song was recorded (i.e. venue/city?) was surprised to not find this on the sleeve

Edited 2 years agoConsidering they ended all the US tours with Pulled Apart (and I assume the European tour?), I find it odd they have it listed on Side A and not B Otherwise this is just fantastic sounding, incredibly dynamic and detailed. I want more! -

Beautiful!! Sounds absolutely incredible. No surface noise after a quick ultrasonic clean. Saw them in San Francisco and they are so amazing live. Hope they release a North American Live Recordings EP next! :P -
Edited 2 years agoTop Qualität. That‘s for sure. Nix desto trotz: eine einigermaßen sehr merkwürdige Version von „ free in the…“. Als würde die Platte Eiern. Tut sie aber nicht. Die Version eiert hier teilweise. Andere Songs sind hier jedoch überwältigend
